Parcel Shelf in C220 Estate

Hi,

I wonder if anybody can give me some advice please. The parcel shelf in my Estate will no longer pop up when I open the boot. Its always been temperamental but now wont lift at all unless I knock it when the boot is open. Is it any easy fix? or something else that has failed overtime with the car?

be interested in this. Mine is intermittent and the dealer has said they can't find anything wrong with it!

Mine is intermittent and won't raise up unless the end is free to 'droop' a little.

My parcel shelf is rubbish too. I've also snapped the right hand side plastic housing the shelf clips into when you remove the whole thing. When the parcel shelf is in place it wedges it in place, but it always falls out when I remove the parcel shelf. I also think the power tailgate is getting slower (if that was even possible).

Could be age related I guess....
