As in title for the first time since new(25months) I had my first warning message on the w212's dash this morning,I never use the parking guidance anyway(have parktronic front/rear),wondered if anyone else has had the same message and if so what was the cause?(not sure if I should call mb mobilo out to diagnose or wait until next service),thanks for any help:cool:

If it's under warranty I'd call them out to it. It's probably only a sensor or something but it will put your mind at rest if nothing else.

If no warranty, then wait for service or pop in and see them when you're passing.

Personally I hate any warning/fault messages and like to get them sorted out ASAP.

ETA: Have you tried cleaning the sensors, the side ones in particular? Just a thought...

Hi,thanks for your reply, don't think it's a parking sensor issue as parktronic is working normally, the parking guidance is just an arrow system on the dash that monitors gaps at speeds under 20mph to let you know the car will fit into a space(I never use it and apart from the warning message I am happy to wait until next service to have it rectified under mb warranty).
