Parking Light Fault?

The Bulb out light is out on my 200 1988 and I changed the bulb and it keeps blowing

Would this likely to be a earth fault

Any help apreciated

Are you sure it's actually blowing or is it just failing to come on, in which case check the connections.

If the bulbs are blowing check the battery water level and the charge voltage.
other than that it must be the bulbs themselves.
