I've got a facelift 204 with Bi Xenons and the parking light has failed, the one that illuminates the "C" light tube in the inside corner, how do I replace it?
I assume you have the very pretty Intelligent Lighting Systems.
If it one of the very white thin lights then it is a LED, and is not replaceable. But it may not be that that has failed, there is a LED driver (on the bottom of the headlight, so its a headlight out job, i.e bumper off) that can fail too.
Are you out of the 3 year warranty? Even if you are, this may be worth asking Mercedes for goodwill replacement as you can't be far out of the 3 year warranty
I've still got 9 months warranty left so I'll go to a dealer. I thought it would be like the BMW Angel eyes but given what you say I'll leave it to the professionals.
Sorted itself out, all working now. Wonder if I was to enthusiastic with the pressure washer the day before and disturbed something? Think I'll spray some WD40 around the plugs and waterproof them.
