Parking Sensors too loud

I hope that somebody can help me. I have an 06 E220 CDI and the rear parking sensor works but it is too loud for rear passengers. I don't have a button to switch it off. Is it possible to turn it down or switch it off altogether?
Also should it have front sensors?

Sounds like an aftermarket kit ... M-B Parktronic has front & rear sensors and displays, and the audio comes out at the front (for the driver).

it's very clever, there is also left and right for the speakers so the sound comes from the corner where the red lights are

The annoying high pitched noise in mine activates when nearing objects, during spirited acceleration/cornering, or at 69mph+.

It always comes from the speaker nearest to Mrs TDE1.
