Parking sensors

I've just purchased a 2005 e280 saloon. Still waiting for the handbooks can someone please give me the location of yhe parking sensors fuse?

Many systems do not have individual fuses.
What issue do you have ?

Any lights at all on the indicator bars front or rear . Like 4 red bars etc ?? Does the switch turn red when you press it on/off for parktronic ?

All lights illuminate briefly when starting the engine. The swith beeps and turns red when switched off

Just checked and all yellow and red lights illuminate briefly upon starting the engine.

Most Likely cause of that is one or more dead sensors which will need replacing. You will need to get the codes read to identify which ones.

So that's telling you they are infact functional power wise . What it's also telling you the pre safe check is detecting problems and shutting the system down.

You will need to identify which sensors or wiring connections that are DUFF . And replace as required. An icarsoft scanner can identify each sensor , along with the human ear with the ign on , a working sensor will tick tick tick . Like a wrist watch .
