Hello

Am looking at installing some parking sensors on my C class..

Thinking about these....anyone had any experiences with these or indeed ones they have installed?

Thx

Hi Raj and welcome to the forum.

I fitted one to my C Class.
It fits quite nicely behind the rub strip on my estate and works quite well.

They do give a lot of false beeps when its raining though.

Hello

I have fitted some from ebay on my ML, pre colour coded and display. Work a treat and have done for 18 months. The only flalse beep was the other day at -6 I reversed from our drive and they beeped.....frozen.

Got to work they were fine again.

Do you mean they beeped just because it was cold or was it because of snow or frost covering the sensors. I've tried MB Parktronic at -20 without any problem but the acoustic ones get easily disturbed from some slush covering them at winter.

Mine are aftermarket ones.
95% of the time they work fine but they do sometimes beep in heavy rain conditions and recently when car was frosty.

I think mine beeped as they had ice covering them.

Its only ever done it once for 3 beeps.

Not bad for sensors off ebay £30 and I fitted them :)

Mine were not expensive and easy to fit too.
A big saving on mercedes price and makes parking a lot easier.
keeps you on your toes when kids run past the back of your car at supermarket car parks when your trying to back out.
