parktronic malfunction

Hi all, my e class w211 parktronic has come up with the 4 red lights indicating a malfunction and then switches off. Is there anyone out there who can give me guidance in trouble shooting this? It would be much appreciated.

Very likely one of the sensors. You need to get it starred to find which one(s).

If you dare to put your ear next to each sensor, you should hear some sound from each working sensor.

and this works? well i didn't do this when mine failed, just had the codes read on the star and changed out the exact one that had failed.

You don't have to have a broken sensor to test if it works, it is a good sensor emitting the sound. Of course reading codes is more convenient but not all have that option readily available.
