Parktronic Retrofit Coding

Just finished installing a parktronic retrofit kit (proper MB one - rear sensors only) to my C class, put the fuse into the rear SAM and it all sprang into life:thumb:

This begs a question about coding - MB WIS says / infers that some coding of modules using STAR will be needed to make the parktronic work, but this kit all appears to be working despite the car never having had "proper" parktronic before.

Do I need to do the coding (I have a generous offer of the use of a STAR for free to do the coding)? or will all be well without further work.

Also, given that I have this opportunity and I've failed to find someone local to me (Yorkshire) to turn on tyre pressure loss warning (option 477?), can anyone give me any tips on how I could enable this while the car is plugged into the STAR. It is a post facelift W203 estate manufactured in 2004.

I had this done a while back and we followed (as far as I recall) the procedure below even though my car is 2005 facelift.

Procedure for pre-facelift w203 cars
============================
- code function in EIS
- code function in ESP
> function is enabled by EIS and new menu appears
> press START and a mileage will appear at the first time it was enabled in the ESP.
- error in cluster, remove key, insert key
- drive car for 20 min
- reset warning parameter in cluster with steering buttons
