I used a bike rack on my W204 and of course it gets in the way of the PTS sensors.
When I removed it, the PTS system showed the double fixed red or single fixed white lights and didn't work.
In fact the bike rack (just like a badly mounted number plate believe it or not) creates a fault code (mechanical setup is not OK)
When the PTS system is used it scans the sensors AND the stored historic codes - which it should not do. As a result the PTS won't work.
Clear all fault codes related to Parktronic and all works fine again.
Odd system..
