Parktronic

picked up new a class. Tried parktronic which was fine on a couple of occasions. However, sometimes it seems to not be correctly aligned and looks as if it’s going to hit something. Am I being too cautious, or would it go on to collide? Any advice welcome.

I'm sure the system works fine... I have a three year old C Class with Parktronic with Park Assist. I have tried it three times. The first time, it parallel parked itself half on the pavement. The second time, it parallel parked perfectly. The third time, it appeared to be about to hit the car next to it while perpendicular parking, so I took over. I haven't used it since (I'm probably paranoid ).

still waiting for the parking assist arrow to turn on after owing my c class for 18 months! 0 assists to date. used it on my older gla at least 100 times . seems like a better system on the gla ? never had any issues on the gla, though once a v low curb (2 inches high at best ) was fully covered in leaves as was the road so it did park the car slightly on the curb the one time.
