Hi,
Is there any member with a Nokia N97 using a Parrot bluetooth kit? I can,t get mine to work properly, any help or pointers greatly appreciated.

I don't have one but shouldn't you explain what is not working? I understand it isn't completely dead when you say it does not work "properly".

ive got nokia n97 and parrot 3200 in one of my cars, had no issues pairing it. I think when i went into settings i put it under "other phone" as opposed to a brand!
Hope this helps Kam

Hi,
Thanks for the replies guys, but I have now sorted it out, I restored the phone to factory settings so I then had to pair it again with the Parrot, and it worked!

How do you rate the N97?

Mark.

Excellent camera, excellent keyboard, good touch screen, huge memory. I have also installed garmin sat nav which works with the touch screen aswell. Overall definitely reccomend the phone!

Which Garmin product is that actually? I tried to find a Symbian application but I only found some HF kits with BT GPS integrated. Would you have some pointers or can you explain what this offers on top of the internal maps/navigation application with the integrated GPS?

https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?cID=138&pID=11413&ra=true#featureTab i think this was the product i got. It works perfectly with the internal GPS. The internal maps are not that good, garmins are alot better and provide good voice navigation. Its pretty much like a tom tom but on your mobile. The version number that works on my n97 is 5.00.50. There are many other "places" where you can get this software aswell.

Hope this helps Kam

Thanks. The phone internal maps and the Garmin maps are from the same map data supplier, do you mean the graphics is better or can you really see a difference in roads covered? Or could it be that Garmin is not only intended for car navigation and includes smaller roads that are not intended for driving with a car?
