    hi

apparently its important to get the right bulb for a 124 instrument cluster to avoid it burning/melting the inside of the cluster....

    i've found this part number:

    N072601012240

on the net and according to inchcape website its a bulb.

Can anyone confirm its the correct bulb for a W124 instrument cluster illumination?

    cheers!

    Derek

I can confirm that it does fit a 124 instrument cluster and its a 3w bulb and there are 3 of them.
However there are also some 1.2w bulbs in there. make sure you change like for like and you'll be ok.
(wattage is written on the bulb)

Thanks - according to the US website where i got the part number from the illumination is 3w. He advises no more than 3w otherwise it melts.

I'll double check my exisitng bulb 1st before swapping over.

Only 1 bulb is out (rev counter side is not lit anymore) so hopefully i only need 1.

    thanks

    Derek
