Part Recognition ?

Hi.

Fitted a new CD/ Radio to my 2001, CLK 320 convertible this week end, when pulling out the existing Audio 10 Radio, and disconnecting all the cables, this came out with it, does anyone know what it is and what it does?

As Spike says it is part of the optical wiring loom, It will go to the CD changer in the boot.

As Spike links states its a fibre optic cable loom.
It feeds the CD Changer in the boot.
