Hey. I am looking for an oil dipstick guide tube for my 2014 A class W176. The part number is A2700104702. I have been trying for some time. Mercedes in the UK do not have any. The item is on back order and has been for months and they can't say when one will arrive for me. I have tried other parts suppliers and also breakers with no luck. The part new and original from Mercedes is around £40. I have found one on a breakers, so used and they want well over £100 for it plus an extortionate amount for delivery. I have tried looking for Mercedes parts specialists all over the world but the ones who do actually have one don't deliver to the UK.
Does anyone have any parts suppliers they know of that if not in the UK will deliver to the UK.
The one in my car has split and is leaking oil. I have tried patching it but it doesn't last longer than a day, I guess the oil and the hot temperatures just makes it leak again. It's making a right mess of my engine and costing a small fortune in oil where I have to keep topping it up. Any help is greatly appreciated.
