This fault has now become more persistant with the cold weather, it was 0 degs C this morning. Switched on ignition to start and Pass airbag off lamp was lit and wouldn't go off. If my wife sat in pass seat with seat belt off, there was no red warning light lit on dash. Scanner shows message as in pic. Car did not go into limp mode and drove normally. After an hour or so driving, I stopped the car and restarted, warning light went off and everything normal again probably till tomorrow morning if it's cold again. Has anyone came across this before and can throw a light on it and how to fix it.
PS:- A mate told me to fit an "Emulator" whatever that is and it would sort this. Can anyone help here, it's driving me nuts.

Fit a new recognition pad in the passenger seat. Fitted literally 100's of them.

As a start, I suppose unplug the connectors, clean them (wd40 contact cleaner) and reconnect. If that doesn’t work, do as Black says.
