I have a w220 s320cdi 2001(51).

All the electrics on the passenger door have failed. Not even the indicator on the mirror flashes and the window or fold in mirror will not even operate from the driver door controls. The seat is locked in position.

Any thoughts on where to begin looking. A guide to which fuse and where its located would be great as I don't have the guide to the fuses which I have been told is usually located in the boot beneath the tool kit that sits on the spare wheel.

All the door electrics are fed from the respective doors DCM module I believe so if there is power to it then it's likely you need a new DCM which I believe is in the region of £250

The modules are behind the door cards

Unfortunately there is no power coming through to the door. The indicator on the passenger door mirror does not work, window switch is dead and will not even operate from the panel on the drivers door, seats don't move and the heated seats don't work. Even when the lights are on the illumination does not come on behind the panel.

I checked most the fuses but without a chart thats legible I am guessing where to start. I did receive a workshop manual on CD today so hopefully I can find a good starting point to establish the problem.

You need to take door panel off and check there is power at the DCM
You could still have power to the door DCM but have an internal fault with DCM that stops everything from working

Solved

All Solved thanks to a new door control module, all electrics including the fold in mirrors. Thank you silverw140 for the part.
