    Evenin' all!

Ref. the snappy headline (!) There's not a lot of light coming from the passenger side footwell and its cover seems to be spot welded into the trim.. Advice please on replacement and what type of bulb to get.

    Thanks in advance

    (Newbie to Mercs.)

Apologies for extended absence from the forums...

Yes I did.. my tame 'indy' Merc. Person was tasked with the job.... He found that the supply cable ended in nothing at all and had been buried up inside the trim panel which bridges the footwell. The lamp holder was inplace but it must have been disconnected at some time during the 7 years before I bought the car. Once located it was a matter of minutes to sort it and all of my passengers feet are now bathed in a lovely glow! :)
