I recently purchased a 2011 Mercedes Vito 113 CDI LWB but the passenger side sliding door won't unlock with the key fob. The drivers side unlocks without issue and I can open the passenger side sliding door but I need to release it from inside first. After that I can open and close it but as soon as I lock the cabin, the door won't unlock again.
I'm desperate to fix this but do not know the mechanics of the unlocking process.
I see that there are contacts and pins that must meet and wonder if there is a means of testing whichever of those is he one that releases the lock.
Could it be that the contacts are touching properly or that the signal isn't getting through?
Or could it be some sort of mechanism in the door that just isn't releasing when it receives the signal?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
