Is anybody staying overnight close by or any kind of evening social for the local people? Its quite a trek for me (which I don't mind), and my other half is away for the weekend. I wouldn't mind doing a spot of socialising in the evening and return on the Sunday.

True, if I make it over, I will definitely need 2 nights (Friday to Saturday to Sunday). Don't feel driving around 1k kms after the meet. Any tips on some nice cheap places to sleep?

On the saturday eve I will be in my local pub. Its not far from the workshop. It is a lovely old pub and I am sure if a few people wanted to have a beer there you would be more than welcome.
