Anyone using a pela pump know if I can repair the valve on the top , the suction is only lasting a short time , I suspect a leak up top . Wondering if it's fixable at all ???

Edit . Found this on pela site , I'll try a clean. Screenshot_20230703-070025-834.png

So today I popped this top off , underneath is a rubber o ring . I cleaned the whole thing with brake cleaner and reassembled . I'll give it a try with water later today and watch how it performs.

Edit . 2 litres in 40 strokes up hill. Before it ran out of puff . Not sure if that's good or not . ??1688553365690501247695826373157.jpg

I replaced the rubber o ring on mine, I think someone on ebay supplied parts to fix these valves and other parts like the wand etc.

Once started by establishing a reasonable vacuum with a few pumps flow should continue without more pumping-sounds as if you still have a vacuum leak or a faulty/worn pump?

TBF it's needed pumping about 3 X 30 to get all the oil from an om642 ever since it was new .
