Penta Alloys

Firstly a big Hello to everyone on the forum. I have just joined after buying a 1979 R107 350SL. I am based in Kenya and hence need to be sure of what will fit the 350SL before bringing it down from the UK (As nothing is available locally). I am looking at getting the Five Spoke AMG Penta style alloys for the SL but need some guidance. I prefer going for the 16" Penta Alloys that are 8Jx16H2 ET11 with 225/50ZR 16 tyres but have seen conflicting info on whether these wheels will fit the car. Or alternatively second choice is to go for the 15" same style alloys in 7Jx15H2 E11 with 225/60R 15 tyres. I would appreciate your feedback as I will have to spend some decent funds in buying the wheels, refurbing them in the Uk and then bringing them down to Kenya. So really need to know that they will fit for sure.

Penta 16" AMG (refurbed) tyre advice

Brought these 3weeks ago in poor condition, sat around for years with corrosion, I recently had them refurbed polished lip and black centre mirror finish, original AMG Penta's took me a while to source but i perservered..i also got AMG centre caps arriving soon, but just need some advice on tyres

any one selling a amg sec or sel?

Pentas before refurb

These are the pictures of what they looked like before the refurb, i told the bloke at the wheel specialists in wolverhampton to take his time with them as i didn't want them rushed and to look right, the colour combo was a no brainer my personal preference, as you can see the corrosion was bad...
