Various.
Been offered these. I've always quite liked the penta wheels but don't know how to tell if they're real AMG ot FAMG. I imagine the difference in value must be considerable.

Any of you keen wheel guys / modders know the answers?

I'm no expert, but if you can tell us the part numbers on the rear of the wheels this might help.

The originals have AMG cast onto the centre hub along with the dimensions of each wheel. These were never actually called Penta's but it's common place to call them that.

Penta's were actually a lower quality wheel produced in the UK and will have PENTA cast into the hub.

A third type is the Ronal wheel which had a slightly different profile. It's much less dished.

I have also seen these wheels with neither Penta or AMG cst into it, and I have no idea where these fit into the scheme of things or who produced them.

So I need to remove them & see if there's anything else cast on the inside?

Don't know for sure, just remove one and see ?

No it will be clearly on the outside, or not , as the case may be.

Take a photograph of the wheel square on so we can read all the lettering surrounding the centre hub, we'll be able to give you a good idea what they are.

Well today I took the OS front wheel off for a look.

They are marked what looks like "CLL" or maybe "CIL" & "MADE IN ENGLAND" on the back of the spokes.

I've never heard of this brand, if it is indeed a brand name.
