Hey guys

I have been getting complaints about when I'm using the handsfree system in my car. I got my connected through Bluetooth. It seems to me a poor mic.
Is there a way to clean it or upgrade it?

Thanks in advance guys

Is it MB or after-market?

Is it HFP or SAP? If HFP it may be down to the quality of the BT link between your phone and the car's microphone and sound system. Check your phone's firmware to see if there's an upgrade available.

I did find on my SAP module that putting the phone in Dual mode caused reception problems with people on some networks. Putting it in GSM mode only solved the problem.

It's hfp. I'm using an iPhone. Everything works perfectly. It's just that the other person can't hear me correctly. And my phone is up todate.

iPhones have a lousy BT implementation, I wouldn't be surprised if that is what is causing it. Do you have another BT capable phone? I'd try that to eliminate the iPhone from the loop and see if that is where the problem lies.
