People using my photos on their adverts

Had an email last night to say that someone was using one of my photos on an ad on Car & Classic. I spoke to the gentleman concerned - he ummed and ahed until I pointed out the © w124.co.uk tag in the left hand corner. I requested he remove the photo, and the link to my website with the suggestion to "compare cars"

An hour or so later the ad was altered. Good news!

He now has an image nicked from someone else on his advert...

I think the phrase "Cheeky B4st4rd" is appropriate

I had that once, with one of my 190E 2.5-16 pictures. It was advertising someone else's much older 2.3-16. Cheeky (lazy) people out there..

I used to have a similar problem when I collected whisky. People would nick the pictures of bottles I sold and use them for their own sales.

The stupid ones that simply hotlinked the image got a shock as I substituted the images for 'less suitable ones'
