His gentle humour will be greatly missed. Came across as a genuinely likeable man.
 
Cracking man, Cracking Toast. Always in the wrong trousers I thought.


Still, nice to have seen him do these things. I can live with the memories.
 
Sad news, does that mean we'll have no more Wallace & Gromit films :-(
 
96 is a grand old age, especially when the average age for a celebrity dying is somewhere between 25 and 47.

I loved the early LOTSW and W&G is still the defacto standard for British animation.
 
As above, 96 is a very good bat and as the Germans would say " you can't blame the midwife for that", so more of a celebration of the happiness he gave to everyone.
 
Yes I enjoyed his acting and of course the voice overs,but as always actors are only human beings,with all the faults that go with that mantle,Peter was a only child,his mother Dorothy in later life was a patient at Runwell Hospital in Essex,in all the time she was there he never visited her, she died in 1975 .
