Seriously though, he was responsible for some of the best TVRs, the Griffith was awesome and the Scamander just... unique, a sad loss and taken from us too early.

Very sad. I admired his style in an ever increasing nanny state, and I'm sure the TVR owners will mark his passing in a suitable fashion. I shall be there in my Griff, a car which for me epitomised TVR.

As I recall he was a chain smoker, which doesn't usually help longevity in life!
