PETROL CAP

Hi All
Called into the petrol station ( again ) tonight and just noticed when undoing the cap, i could hear the tank making a pop or a suck noise. Is this is the air under pressure !! Should my cap be a Vented Type... not to sure what type i have...

My SL500 cap always has a bit of a vacuum.

Nothing wrong most MB s have this its normal .Time to worry when you dont hear it .

I had a petrol smell from the cap area. Pulled off the O ring and put it back opposite way. This cured the smell. Ordered a new one so all good again.
