In 2012 I bought a 4 year old petrol CLS350 CGI from a main MB dealer which I still have today. It has been absolutely superb and needed very little in terms of non routine maintenance. I paid under £15k for the car which was 1 owner, 40000 on the clock, gorgeous multi spoke AMG wheels and all the toys I wanted.

The current equivalent 4 year old petrol CLS400- and there are very few out there is now £24k. 3 owner car too:

I just found a great car on Auto Trader:

I guess the demonisation of diesel and scarcity of young new petrols is mostly to blame.

It says 41468 miles in the listing when I click on it- weird.

Mine had 40k also.
