Petrol flap doesn't open ??

Hi guys before I take my car to Mercedes does anyone know what's up with my petrol flap it doesn't open when pushed but sometimes opens at random times on the road. It's a 2014 b180 Cdi

I had the exact same issue with my June 2012 B180, its a faulty locking mechanism, they will replace it, I suspect its sub standard part because I got distinct impression they had seen it quite often.

I also had an issue with wiring loom as well, engine would stutter sometimes over about a month then went into limp home mode, they found wiring fault in loom (another known issue)

Thanks guys I should of just went straight into mb it's my first new car so so do don't really know how it works

It's a petrol flap fitted to a diesel car so wrong part fitted?
