Hello all. After driving for a while i get a strong petrol smell coming from the rear drivers side wheel. Does anyone know what this can be as i dont seem to be losing fuel?

Possibly leak from fuel pump or filter. We found a non genuine fuel filter that was cracked and caused exact same symptoms as you have.

The rubber hoses from the tank to the pumps can perish and leak , metal pipes down there are also known to corrode . Fuel pumps are located just inboard of that wheel .
