Ph fleet: Mercedes-benz c63 amg estate

These cars are overpriced and slow, surprised anyone buys them

Interesting araticle though.....

I note that PH regard Nottingham MB with the same disdain as I (and a lot of others) do.

Actually, I'm amazed I typed the word 'disdain'. I'm not usually stuck for expletives, but I do struggle where Nottingham MB are concerned.

Love the comments on the PH thread. The last one is a cracker. :D

"Our C63 estate is nice and shiny..."

I don't think so, the tailpipes are all black and manky - looks like a diesel!

When in Mercedes World last month I had a look around the unaffordable floor before we left.

The impression it left me with was the E63 Estate looked very good value compared to anything else in there - it was less than £5000 more than a C63 estate and a good £30,000 less than anything else up there.

They had a 09 plate estat at my local dealership and it was an approved used car and had black manky tailpipes too!

You want manky black exhausts? Have a look at the next RS4 you see. If I'd not left London for a while in mine, it used to smoke like a French teenager.

5k? Eh? The E63 is around 72K but the C63 is 56k last time I looked.

Those were the price tags on the stands in front of each car.

C63 was £71K - E 63 £76K

You don't need to add thousands in options to an E63 for the 500hp it comes standard.

Who buys a new C63 for £56K? Look at the price once all the necessary options are added.
