PH review of c250cdi manual

What makes me laugh is how they bring up "the hillstart issue" with any manual mercedes, you dont need your foot to release the handbrake. :wallbash:

Always reminds me of the African Top Gear special where May suggests the parking brake is broken by pulling the release handle while driving :/

Pretty uninformative really, never found hill starts a problem in any manual Mercedes I've owned, really is a non issue. On a W126 and I think a W123 the hand brake is applied and released with the handle in the dash.

Is it?! Ha, I always thought it was a pedal/handle combo in them all like my old 202's :D

I think so, if not I'm sure I'll be corrected soon! Hill starts are no problem on a manual, but hand brake turns take some serious head patting stomach rubbing co ordination!

Agree it's not a particularly informative review. And no mention of the hill start assist feature which I've found makes a big difference compared to the W202 manual I had some years back.
