Phone button on steering wheel

I have ah c 180 2001 it has buttons for phone on steering wheel ,when pressed it says not in use more off less just wondering is it supposed to work radio not working but c d is

It will only work if you have the phone module installed. Have a look in the top section of the armrest. If you have the phone module there will be a connector for the cradle.
