Phone Cradle - Can anyone help??????

Greetings guys/gals.

I have a problem with my in-built phone cradle, i have a 2004 W211 with the built-in phone cradle with a ViseeO MBU 1000 bluetooth thingy.... i can no longer hear anyone through the phone kit and i have noticed that the last pin on the cradle (right hand side as you look at the cradle) is broken. i cant simply replace the cradle as it appears to be hard-wired into the vehcle somewhere, i beleive the later models can be plugged/unplugged as required.
Any one got any ideas please...im starting to loose the plot.

You can change these quite easily, just undo the screws that hold top tray into place (look underneath) - the MB dealers are very expensive for this part and its quite a common failure.

Where abouts does the cable connect?

To the curly cable that you can see between the bottom of the top section of the glovebox and the base (rear) of the glovebox - i.e theres some connectors that will become obvious when you remove the screws in holding the plate with the cradle in place

I "took it apart" and found the pin had pushed in and after giving it a prod it popped back up into it's location!!!
