Phone Question............

I have a 2000 CL500. The phone cradle has part number A215 820 0051.

Am I right in saying that the Nokia 6210 will fit this cradle. Just need to check before I go searching ebay for one!

Which option code do you find from your data card for the phone kit? I assume it would be 852 or 854.

I cannot remember when they changed from the 5110/6110 cradle to the 6210 and later type. The older one has a phone holder working from the helix antenna of the phone. The later phone models do not have an external helix antenna and the fixture has been changed to a different type (the old cradle can be changed if you can find the part, A2038200751 I believe).

6210 and later models can be used in the old cradle but the control unit needs to be updated (swapped if you cannot find anyone doing the SW update).

I have just bought a CLK500 2003 plate with command and a phone cradle in armrest for i believe is a Nokia 6310i ..........My question is, do i have to buy a 6310i phone or is there a cheap way of using my LG Viewty via bluetooth or replacement cradle ? I am prepared to change my phone but am reluctant to fork out £200 for a new cradle everytime i change my phone ?? ANY HELP Gratefully accepted cheers Rob

A 2003 car would not have UHI yet, I'd suggest buying the ViseeO BT adapter from this shop:

Did you find that a Nokia 6210 worked? I have recently acquired my beautiful 2002 CL500 and it is missing the phone from the cradle (215-820-0051, like yours) but I don't want to waste money on a phone that doesn't work.
