Similar to the above I bought a Canary camera with 24 hours of free storage (the camera came at a premium over others and the free storage helped my decision to buy it) or you could upgrade to 30 days for at cost - something I considered as the camera and app were so good.
Then they 'upgraded' the app, removed all free storage, tried to force you to pay for the upgrade, and every link you pressed for more info linked to the paywall.
The response on social media was resounding - it must have hit them hard because within a month they had reverted to a similar (but not the same) model with claims of 'We hear you' and 'we're introducing new features for free'
It's usable again but I will never buy another Canary product nor recommend them again.
