So, I'm going on holiday, and at the last minute I thought of what a great idea it would be to put to use all that extra bandwidth on my new webhosts!

My idea is to get a user-management (login/logout, users/group authentication) in placve before leaving, so that I can divide who sees what while I'm on holiday and upload my "untouched" snaps to a select few...

Problem is, I don't have the time to do this myself (I'm leaving friday remember?). So, in the meantime, I'm looking for a cheap (free is always cheap) implementation of this. PHP 4/5 and MySQL would be nice.

Has a pretty good implementation of that; and they give source code! So I can always fiddle and customise and add to it. Does anyone have any experience with it? It works out to about £20 - does anyone use anything similar and free(ish) ?

quick edit: .htaccess is also acceptable, but its a pain to manually add/remove users and get everything working smoothly!
