Picking up my first Mercedes on Friday!!!

well im taking it a little slow at the mo as i need to get use to it, im also listening to it just incase there are any noises i shouldn't be hearing!

it's so nice to drive, so smooth through the gears, you could easily forget it's a diesel when on the long and straight bits!

as for an old mans car? hardly! i lvoe it, although i do often get that stick from my mates as i've had 2 rovers and a jag already! people used to think my old XJ6 Sovereign was a grandads car!

Haha, I know mate! I'll hopefully get to open it up a bit atbthe weekend, legally and safely of course!

I'm not use to that mpg either! My jag used to get 13 after that I thought my corrado was economic with 24 mpg haha!

congrats on the new car - i'm sure you'll love it.

, but both are on the arches and have been treated and protected, i was also told that this will fall into warranty if it spreads!

was it a MB Dealer you purchased from? if not then because they have now meddled with the existing rust, MB wont touch it. its a nightmare to get a rust claim authorised in the 1st place, and if its been resprayed by a non- MB dealer then its going to be hard to get any futue work in that area authorised.
