Finally got round to posting some pics of my E Class. Also, one showing my wife trying to escape from the back of "Benzter" (as she calls him!) - she didn't get very far though... :D

By the way, does anyone agree that the car looks under-wheeled with the 16" Ruchas?

My Saab and E enjoying the snow on my drive!

Yes, I think 16" is too small for the W211.

very nice indeed

so is the car:D:D:D:):):):D:D:D

yeah agree on the wheels. I'm looking for a w211 estate, but I want a Sport like what I currently have, trouble is I want ISOFIX as well, argh.

16" do look small but probably give the best ride.

Same wheels are available in 17"...but I'd go for AMG III personally, nicest looking wheel on an E class estate.

Will check next time they pop in, it does ride well though.

I agree the 18" look great but will give it a hasher ride.

yeah my Sport certainly isn't smooth.

Yeah. me too. I've been trying to make my mind up for a while now and thought if I got a good offer for my 16" wheels and tyres, that would make my mind up for me - but, I didn't! However, I think 17s would oook better!

By the way, seems we have a similar taste in cars! Both have S211s and Convertibles, albeit mine is a Saab! (had a CLK before the Saab though).

I think my dads are 17" ??
Looking at the height of the tyre wall, I'd say they're 16s, like mine. Wish I'd ordered mine with 17s at the start now!!

i will have 18" (non-original) Ruchas on next week, i'll post a pic for you to see.

LOVE the exhausts on the Sport model!! Way too expensive to retro fit though! Thought I'd add the Hirsch twin exhaust to my Saab, but £1400 supplied and fitted is a wee bit too much! :D

If you don't mind me asking, how much were the wheels and tyres?

very , very nice car ...thanx .... big wheel and tint window. ..thanx

Looking good! But as others agree it could look better with bigger wheels.
My own experience is that the 18" CLS wheels on mine did not upset the ride quality that much. I won't pretend it was better (but the grip was!) but it was nowhere near as bad as the sport suspension which I had on a loan car.
Choose the wheels that you like!
