I kept thinking it felt like a MB Direct site with one major difference, the quality and standard of the cars!! So nice to put faces to names.

Jimmy, maybe you can have a sideline in quality used Mercs. Thanks very much indeed for a superb day out, despite the absence of our round yellow friend in the sky.

This is the one I really noticed on the day. There was a distinct lack of the arrogance we all seem to experience from the dealer network. It occurred to me that a letter should go out to MB HQ before the next meet to see if they would like the opportunity to see what sort of people buy and drive their cars.

It seems that some of you are blessed with good dealers, I unfortunately have to travel to get to one.

What made it particularly good for me was the level of genuine enthusiasm and (often self-taught) knowledge passing among the people that were there.

When's the next meet?
