I think the styling is spot-on - it looks chunky but stylish.

Looks nice but I do wonder how far Mercedes can go with these highly tuned engines. What's next, a twin turbo, supercharged, nitrous oxide injected, 500cc pocket rocket. The engine so highly tuned it needs a monthly oil change.

The styling is pony and Mercedes seem to be trying to emulate the BMW trend of ever larger over-sized plastic radiator grilles.

Take away that and the naff rear treatment around the exhausts and you're left with what looks like a bland SUV from Korea.

Nasty. Looks like something my little boy would draw with his crayons.
I can’t actually thing of too many “affordable” cars I’d actually like to own these days based on looks. They’re mostly bland and all look the same or are effectively the same generic vehicle with slightly different grille/lights (put anything by VW group in there for the top score).
Interior design has moved on leaps and bounds granted but exterior wise, nothing really floats my boat the normal side of 40k which is in reality a shed load of cash in anyone’s book.
