I went for Pilot Sport 4 in the end, will match the E55 and the E220.

Went to collect today, they fitted 93Y by mistake but are fitting correct ones again tomorrow.
Good thing I checked as I was closely checking the tyre and the date code.

Got the "new" tyres today.

Would everyone accept Week 48 2019 as being a "new" tyre ?



What is really annoying is I made it very clear I wanted new tyres with new DOT codes due to the old tyres having lots of tread but cracking. Chap agreed.

Not all that impressed with the work on the wheels if truth be told.
They don't look like they have been media blasted, you can still see the marks for the old weights.
Quite a bit of dirt in the paint finish and some runs etc.

Think I need a new thread.

Just tidying up and note they have fitted "Pilot Super Sport" when I asked them to fit "Pilot Sport 4".

I'm no tyre expert but surely these are different tyres?

Starting to lose patience with these guys, expected more or at least a degree of competence.

Pat. Did Skidz fit them or Costco?
We have super sports on the C63. They are hard, very pointy but noisy ( same as the car) They do grip very well and really last. The PS4 is more comfort focussed suited to the 212.

They just seem to keep messing up, not what I expected.

Going to give the refurbed wheels a good going over this morning.
First glance they look painted only and not "refurbed".

Took them back today, didn't take chap long to see they were the wrong tyres.

Wheels and tyres being done again.

I'm out if they are wrong after this.

Will stick some on tomorrow, they are still in the back of the van, well 2 are.

Wheels arrived today with the new tyres.
Correct tyres this time, will get a pic of the wheels soon, was wet today.
