Pirelli P6000

I've just fitted P6000 on my w203 avantgarde and omg the road noise is too intrusive. I had some budget tyres before which were very quiet but these pirelli's are very noisy with a humming noise.

I've noticed that there is wind noise coming from the windows too now. This has become more prominent with the tyre changes.

I thought Pirelli's are market leaders? The grip is brilliant however.

Checked the tyre pressures? Some times tyre fitment centres over-inflate tyres to seat the new tyres on the rim and don't deflate to the correct running pressure?

Not for nothing are these tyres known as 'ditchfinders' ..... there was another thread running on P6000s recently and everyone pretty much had had a bad experience on them !

Maybe the poster has limited expectation of tyres fitted to their car...

My W203 was factory fitted with these Pirelli P6000s and I am glad to have got rid of them. Mine were 225/50.
