Piston Heads Sunday Service - 28th April

Not anywhere near the 600 :( and some other chores have come up that need to be done. I'll keep an eye on the list and if I should end in the 600 i'll come along (i hate chores!), i'm that commited!!

BTW does it not start at 9am or is that just when the gates open?

Maybe get your chores done and pop down if its not too late.
You can always park in the civi's car park.

I'm at 620 now. Think I might just scrape in. Or not?
We will see. Guess I'll check it at about 9 and see.
Have to get up early and wash my car if I'm in!
Any ideas on where people are meeting at Brooklands yet?

Hi mate,

As above, if you don't make the 600, maybe go down anyway and find a space in the normal car park.

Then you can walk over to where the PH lot are parked and find us.

When me and Don get there, we will probably go straight to the PH parking area.

White C63 Black Series and silver CLK63 coupe.

Just made the 600...

My biggest issue is waking up.

Though I really should treat the car to a visit to MBW.:dk:

Car is not very clean either...:ban:

I'm currently at #648 on the list - which has moved along a fair bit from when I signed up (was at ~ 750 originally IIRC)

I'll check it later on, but there's a chance I'll make it into the 600 - if so I should be there in the morning. Car is also looking a little unloved, so go easy on me - hopefully it'll rain :D

Ooh. I'm at 614 now. If Rash and a few others drop out I'll be in. Forecast is for heavy heavy rain fro midnight till midday.

Oi, that enough talk of rain! :ban: :D

Hopefully you'll make it into the 600.

But maybe consider coming along and finding somewhere to park so you can join us?

See what happens.

Beautiful morning if a bit cold and I’ve dragged myself out of the pit. Sod the chores; I’ll see you at Clacketts even if I am at 656 in the list!!:bannana:

367 now

Might pop down and park at the hotel. What time does it kick off?

popping down now. Look out for the Phantom

Nice day out good to meet some members for the first time.
Highlights for me the mint f40 and the enzo !!

Yes, it was a great day out :thumb:

Some really nice cars own there.
It was a good turn out. I remember the last PH meet being no where near as populated.

Peter, I saw your CL but didn't see you anywhere  :(

Didn't see you either Stumpy :(

Hope to see you guys soon!

But it was good to see Will and his CLK and also to meet Seven for the I rest time, as well as "C63" from the forum :thumb:

The Enzo was epic.
I personally found the older cars more enjoyable - there was a lovely V70R AWD and a stunning Subaru Forester amongst many others that caught my eye.
Nice CLK 63 as well, but the speck of dust I saw in the interior let it down.

Nice to put a face to the name Rashman!

Likewise. I had to park at the hotel and mooched about for a while but couldn't see anyone. Saw Peters CL looking lovely though. What I don't like about these PH events is the way people drive when leaving. Some cars really took the biscuit going up the drive show boating to the crowd. Maybe I'm just getting old.:dk:

Lol.. you joker :rolleyes::D

Thanks for taking time to look at my 63 bud :thumb:
It seemed to meet your approval after you cast your keen eye over it :D

And yes, I agree, there were some lovely older cars.

Hopefully see you again soon!
