Piston Heads Sunday Service - 28th April

Likewise. I had to park at the hotel and mooched about for a while but couldn't see anyone. Saw Peters CL looking lovely though. What I don't like about these PH events is the way people drive when leaving. Some cars really took the biscuit going up the drive show boating to the crowd. Maybe I'm just getting old.:dk:

Yes, I admired Peter's CL too

Completely agree with you about the hooligans.
They arrive nicely but then rip along the drive on the way out.

A lot of the culprits seem to be Audi & BMW drivers. Funny that.

There was also a GTR than properly ripped it when he left. Took it right up the rev range to at least 3rd gear. So I'm figuring 100mph+

Any photos guys?

What happens at Brooklands stays at Brooklands :D

Lol

Naa, I'll put up some I took.
I didn't end up taking many but Steve had his paparazzi camera so I'm sure he's got some to post.

The Don also took quite a few.. well, his daughters were running around with his camera so I'm no sure what sort of pictures he ended up with :D

Sukh, post up some of yours when you get a mo!

Got a few pics, will post once I've got all the chores done! ;-)

Really should have taken more

Just got carried away with looking at all the cars :o

I'm hoping The Don and Steve will be able to illustrate the day abit more with their pics.

I had a passenger ride in a CLS 63. First time I've been in the new biturbo 5.5 and although it obviously didn't go around corners on rails it certainly was quick. Not as quick as mine at lesser speeds but noticeably quicker over about 70.
I asked the guy driving if it felt quick to him anymore after driving it so much and he said not really. Sort of how I feel about mine so it made me feel better!
Wanted a ride in the SLS but they took it out of service because it got too hot.
Must say the C class BS looked rapid around the circuit.
I'll agree with Rash that some people didn't leave as they should. It's a 30 limit on the feeder road and whilst it's obviously a bit difficult to stick to if you've got a nice car and there are lots of people to impress I saw (and heard) plenty of cars at more than double that.

From pistonheads re todays meet :D:thumb:

Awesome day, ridiculous lap in a c63 amg Black today, amazing how it destroyed the SLS, want want want! hilarious fun drifting, only managed 27 seconds.

Sorry i missed you Rash. Couldn't believe you parked on the grass, immaculate as ever Rash apart from the slight muddy N/S rear tyre !!

Had a walk around with Will. It was a very good turn out, such a variety of cars.

As mentioned the Enzo,wow, stunning.

Many thanks for all of the photo's and hope to see you at Olly's.
