The very first S-Class to be powered by the new M157 engine is a red S-Class with blistered arches, a stripped out and caged cabin and a full complement of precisely replicated sponsorship stickers. It doesn't look or sound anything like as mean as the original Red Pig, but it's certainly a tougher look for the S-Class.

Yes, actually, definitely - it's still a contender vs the E55, to be honest. Who wouldn't want a turbo-charged V8 from Porsche, no matter what it's in?

funny you say that because I rather fancy an ML as the road surface is so bad I feel I actually need one as well as want.

Turbo'd V8 vs SC'd V8. I'd take the later, get the E55. When you can have a 220cdi which does mosts taks well, its a fairly pointless exercise in wants over needs

I love my Landy, recently I've taken to leaving the 43 at home because the roads are just absolutely appalling. A wheel-destroying pothole can appear literally overnight and in the Disco, I just don't care.

What you really need is a range rover supercharged with massive 20 inch wheels with decent tyre profille too. Just think of the completely pointlessness of Jag supercharged V8 in something as comfy as your grannies living room and the likely people it will annoy. Wonderful
