plastic sump/engine underbody cover

Hi all,

Im looking for a part number for the plastic "tray" on the underside of my R171 SLK200. Can anyone assist? Also looking for a cheap supplier as my cracked one is splitting more and more by the week!

The one I bought for my C43 AMG was less than £30 from MB, yours should be similar in price.

It's the type of specialized part that's likely to be obtainable only from MB. MB part prices aren't always unreasonably high, so are always worth checking out against other sources (Euro Car Parts, GSF, etc. -- whose quality grades do vary, their top quality being OEM and closer in price to MB).

Wish I could find one for my W126.

you might also be able to get a metal one, i know they do one for the 202 and the 211`s, worth asking, but they arent cheap.... your dealer will be your best bet

Well its going in to get some bodywork done courtesy of MB so I might just get them to fix it when it's in.

Might get them to fix my little cracked bumper as well, courtesy of a sawn off bollard lurking under some long grass... grrrrr
