Hi guys new to the scene . Just bought a 2003 c200k avantgarde se .

Got a horrendous vibrating and noise at between 30 and 54 . Took front wheel off nothing out the ordinary droppings bearing entirely bar ect ect . Herd there common for steering rack bushes ? Is this a pig of a job ? Thanks for your help

Has a (front) wheel thrown a weight?

I always start with the easier to discount options and have had this very issue on a Zafira at around those speeds

Start there imho.
