Hi there, i have a little dilema!!As shown below on my w203 c32 amg,i do have standard from the factory xenon headlights. But as you can see my xenon headlights have hazy plastic covers, and not the modern, clear headlights.

Now, i wana purchase some xenon clear headlights as we all know the xenon units are built into the back off the headlights therefore having to buy the whole units.Just this time with clear lenses. But the only ones ive seen are on ebay and there still around £750 mark, so was wondering if it was worth getting these, or buying a nice set of aftermarket clear lights and buying HID kits for them. But if i went down this road what ones would i need for my car??if anyone has knowledge in this i would love some help!!

Also if i sold my standard headlights(which are in good condition, no cracks etc)which are xenon just hazy lenses, how much are they worth??

Cheers peeps!!

Hi check the part nos with the ones on ebay.
you want
A2038203759 NS (latest no's)
A2038203859 OS
Or
A2038201959 NS (older no's)
A2038202059 OS

I Believe all of these have clear lenses as they are listed as fitted AFTER april 2006.
The older no's are replaced by the new no's, probaby just a manufacturer change.

I don't think your old ones will be worth as much, except maybe for xenon spares as most people buying will, like you, be wanting the clear lenses.
Search on forum for 'HID' will reveal issues re legality etc
Keep your eye on ebay & you can often pick up 2nd hand units for around £400

^ What Smatt said. ^

Like you, most people upgrading will want Bi-xenons (clear) rather than Xenons (frosty), so you may not get much for them apart from someone looking to replace an existing defective frosty unit.

I'd assume they're worth £100 and if you get more, then that's a bonus.

So what are you going to do - upgrade or not?

well i got someone who want my frosty xenons for £150, and ive seen a set of very nice after market clear bi-xenons for £569.99 on ebay. Then when when they come i can put the clear foglights i bought on the bumper, and then order my euro-tec cf splitter from the u.s, and then to be fair i think i may just put the grille with no star on cos i think itll look better then this one on there, or a 3 slack black grille with a star. Then off too advance auto technique for bilstein springs ic pump, 181 pulley, heat exhanger.then to dms autosport for another re-map, and quad amg exhaust!!All before june!!
